Welcome to the Dugan Elementary Media Center!
We are so glad to be back in school for another exciting school year!

Checkout Procedures:
Kindergarten - 2nd grade students can check out 1 book at time.
3rd - 5th grade students can check out 2 books at a time.
All books are due back 2 weeks from the check out date.
Book Sections in our Library:
Fiction Books - These are chapter books and are separated by Genre such as Adventure, Sports, Humor, etc.
Non- Fiction Books - These are factual books and are separated by the Dewey Decimal System such as 500 Space, etc.
Everybody Books- These are picture books and are separated by the last name of the author such as C for Carle, Eric.
Biography Books - These are books based on the lives of famous people and are separated by the last name of the famous person such as J for James, LeBron.
We have two Book Fairs a year- Fall and Spring. Dates and times will be sent out to students a few weeks before each Fair.
